Commercial Pilot Licence (CPL)
The School offers training in/through the following:
Flight Training Section
Private Pilot Licence (PPL) - 45 hrs of flying instruction
Commercial Pilot Licence with Instrument Rating (CPL/IR) -from
abinitio 180 hrs flying instruction on a single engine aircraft (Cessna 150) and 50 hrs for Twin Rating and Instrument Rating.
Prior to Instrument rating a minimum of 30hrs on Simulator.
Flight Maintenance Section
The Section maintains the fleet for flying training to minimize
disruptions due to unserviceable aircraft.
Ground School
The Section provides 170 hrs ground school instruction to Private Pilot Licence course and 830 hrs for Commercial Pilot Licence course.
Entry Qualifications:
Minimum of Grade 12 Certificate with Credits in Mathematics, English, Physical Science/Physics and two other related subjects.
Duration:
CPL with Instrument Rating: 1½ - 2 years
